Configure SMS notifications

Configure a short message service (SMS) server to receive an SMS message each time an alert is raised. First configure an SMS server, and then configure an SMS profile. In the SMS profile, use commas to separate the addresses of the recipients.

Configure an SMS server

1. Navigate toSystem > Notifications > SMS.
2. In the details pane, clickSMS Server, and then clickAdd.
3. In theCreate SMS Serverpage, specify the values for the SMS server parameters. The values for these parameters are provided by the vendor.
4. ClickCreate, and then clickClose.

Configure an SMS profile

1. Navigate toSystem > Notifications > SMS.
2. In the details pane, clickSMS Distribution List, and then clickAdd.
3. In theCreate SMS Distribution Listpage, specify the values for the mail profile parameters. For a description of a parameter, hover the mouse over the corresponding field.
4. ClickCreate, and then clickClose.
