Supporting the communities where our employees live and work is a major tenet of the Citrix culture. We encourage our employees to live our corporate values by empowering them to give their time, talent and passion to those in need. We support employee engagement by giving employees the flexibility to support the causes that matter most to them, when and how they choose to give back.

Our efforts are in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development GoalUNSDG #4, “To ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all”.

We are committed to powering marginalized communities with access to technology to narrow the digital divide. Our aim is to augment United Nations GoalUNSDG #17to, “Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development”.

Our strategic focus incorporates a holistic approach that includes two main components, Simply Serve and Simply Give.

Simply Serve

Simply Serveis the brand name of all of our global volunteer programs. Employees receive 16 hours of paid volunteer time to support the charities of their choice. Up to three additional paid volunteer days may be used to support disaster relief volunteer efforts.

Simply Give

Simply Giveis our corporate giving program. It provides grant dollars to eligible nonprofits and supports personal employee donations through our charitable match program. In 2020, Citrix matched employee donations up to 4,000 USD per employee. Through the Dollars for Doers program, employees receive a cause card for volunteering during their personal time, which can be used to donate to their favorite nonprofit.

These programs are intended to reinforce a culture of service by:

  • Mobilizing Citrites around the world in community stewardship
  • Increasing employee volunteerism and giving in local communities around the world
  • Measuring and tracking that impact
