Configuring user authentication, authorization, and auditing

You can configure authorization for users and groups to enable then to access an AppExpert application. If the AAA user or group for which you want to configure permissions has not already been created, you can create it from AppExpert and then configure permissions for application access.

To configure AAA users and AAA user groups for an application by using the configuring utility

  1. Navigate toAppExpert>Applications, select an application entity, and then clickEdit.
  2. In theAdvanced Settingssection, clickAuthorization, and configure authorized users and user groups.
  3. Click theAAAuser section to bind authorized users to the application.
  4. In theAAA级用户slider, set the parameters .
  5. ClickContinue, and then clickAuthorization Policiesin theAdvanced Settingssection.
  6. In theAuthorization Policyslider, bind an authorization policy to the application.
  7. ClickContinue, and then click theAuthorization Groupsection in theAdvanced Settingssection.
  8. In theAAA Group Bindingslider, bind an authorization user group to the application.
  9. ClickContinue, and then clickPoliciesin theAdvanced Settingssection.
  10. In thePoliciesslider, bind anAudit SyslogorAudit NSlogpolicy to the application.
  11. ClickContinueand thenDone.

To edit AAA users and AAA user groups for an application by using the GUI:

Navigate toAppExpert>Applications>Advanced Settingsand clickAuthorization. Then click the edit icon and specify values for user or user-group authorization settings.

To delete AAA users and AAA user groups by using the GUI:

Navigate toAppExpert>Applications, select an application and clickEdit. In theApplicationspage, clickAdvanced Settingsand clickAuthorization. Click the delete icon next to the entity.
